Norse Protection Runes.

Inspired by my Daughter drawing images of Norse Runes. I went away and did a little of my own research with the help and guidance of Damien O’Donnell who studied “Norse” Mythology.

The Helm of Awe: Is mostly still unexplained but possibly a symbol of protection as in one of the sagas Sigurd wears it before he fights the dragon.

The Vegvisir Compass: The rough translation is “that which shows the way”.

The Ginfaxi: Used as a good Luck Symbol.

I have also added in several runes for the stars, trees, protection and Odin’s eye.
